As an independent broker/consultant, Paul’s focus is working with a variety of small employers as well as and with school systems. Paul is a graduate of Indiana State University with a B.S. Degree in Marketing. He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1993. Paul has worked in group medical, life, and disability insurance for over 35 years. During his years at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Paul was a Sales Representative; Vice President of Marketing for Acordia School Benefits; Consultant for Insurance Management Bureau, working with schools in Illinois; Manager of small group sales and Account Retention Representative for large groups (100 + lives). Paul’s vast experience provides a broad knowledge of the needs of various industries and demographics. Paul has experience with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs), and Traditional networks. Paul also had expertise in several funding arrangements, including fully insured, minimum premium, cost plus and third party administrators (TPAs). In his free time, Paul enjoys travel, golf, auto racing and yard work. Paul is also active in his church. He and his wife are the parents of two sons and recently entered the world of grandparenting. |
