Larry Klutzke, CPA CIC rejoined Brown & Brown of Indiana August 10th, 2009 as Accounting Leader. Larry was raised on a farm near Wingate, Indiana. He obtained his BS in General Management/Accounting from Purdue University where he met is wife, Jane. Larry spent a few years in retail sales and management, then worked for RJ Pile in Indianapolis in Audit and Management Consulting for six years as a CPA. From public accounting, Larry moved into management and accounting roles within the construction industry (general contractor/carpentry, excavation/underground utilities, landscape/nursery) for several years. In 2001, Larry entered the insurance industry in accounting for Brown & Brown, and obtained his P&C producer license and CIC certification. Larry was recruited by HRH, a competitor, to Atlanta for three years until Willis purchased HRH. He spent a year at MultiNational Underwriters back in Indianapolis (now HCC Medical Insurance Services), then recently returned to Brown and Brown of Indiana. Larry has been married to Jane for 25 years and lives in Carmel with his son Benjamin, a junior at Carmel High School. Larry’s daughter, Alexandria, just started her freshman year at IU in journalism. Larry enjoys time with family, martial arts, geocaching and photography. |
