Frederick W. McClaine is Executive Vice President of Brown & Brown of Indiana, Inc. (Brown & Brown). As Profit Center Leader of Brown & Brown he enhances and motivates 60 highly trained insurance professionals to service over $700,000,000 of clients' premium, making Brown & Brown the largest insurance intermediary in the State of Indiana.
McClaine was formerly President and an owner of Agency Associates, Inc. prior to the merger with Brown & Brown in November 2008. Agency Associates grew 800% from 1996 to 2008 under McClaine’s leadership. Prior to joining AAI he was retained by Lincoln National Corporation to design and create a regional independent insurance agency from scratch in 1991 and merged that agency with Agency Associates, Inc. in 1996.
McClaine received several awards over the years from insurance associations and companies, and he was instrumental in re-establishing the "The Young Agents Committee" for the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana (IIAI), an award winning national network of young independent insurance agents.
He has served on the IIAI Board of Directors, the Hartford Insurance National JTC council, Travelers Insurance Agent Council and the Selective Insurance Agent Council.
He and his wife Jamie, an author of children’s books own their own publishing company, JAFS Publishing. They enjoy traveling and spending time with their two children Maci and Graysen. They are active members of St. Alphonsis Parish in Zionsville, Indiana and he is a member of the Parish’s Knights of Columbus.
