Angela Walton is Senior Vice President of Brown & Brown of Indiana, and is responsible for managing the Benefits Division for one of Indiana’s largest multi-line independent insurance agencies. Brown & Brown is a publicly traded company ranking in the top 10 of all independent insurance agencies in the country. With over 110 retail offices in 33 states, Brown & Brown is one of the nation’s most respected independent insurance agencies. Angela currently manages group and individual service agents in offices located in Elkhart, Kokomo and Carmel, Indiana. Angela supports and assists the sales producers, helping them meet their sales goals. In addition, Angela also manages the marketing of all association endorsements. Her current list of affiliated associations include: Indiana State Bar Association, Indiana State Medical Association, Indiana Funeral Directors Association, Indiana State Nurses Association, Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors, Mid-America Equipment Retailers Association and the Indiana State Podiatric Association. Prior to joining the Brown & Brown team after the acquisition in late 2008, Angela was a Junior Partner and Executive Vice President of the Benefits Division of Agency Associates, Inc. (AAI). Founded in 1974, Agency Associates grew to be one of the largest multiple line independent insurance agencies in Indiana. Agency Associates provided comprehensive insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. Angela has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. She is a member of the national association, American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators (AIPAGIA) and is serving as President from 2010 to 2011. She is also a member of the Indianapolis Association of Health Underwriters (IAHU). Angela and her husband Spencer Walton Jr. were recently married and have 6 children combined and 4 grandchildren. |
