Vicki Collier Rude, CIC

Vicki Collier Rude joined Brown & Brown in October of 2003 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She brings over 25 years of insurance and underwriting experience to the agency. Her insurance career began with Wausau Insurance Company in the Commercial Lines department where she was a multi-line underwriter for several years. Wanting to work more directly with the policyholder, she decided to switch to the agency side of the insurance industry. She finds satisfaction in knowing her clients trust her to help oversee their insurance needs. Vicki is a licensed Property & Casualty agent and holds a Certified Insurance Counselor designation.

Vicki’s current position is the Marketing Manager of the Property & Casualty Division. She develops relationships with the insurance carriers and underwriters in order to fully understand their capabilities. The partnerships she has with the underwriters help provide the most comprehensive and competitive insurance program for our clients. Vicki works with the producers to compile the necessary underwriting information from the client, submits applications to the carriers, negotiates premiums, and prepares proposals for the producer to deliver. She also continues to service a book of business.
