Pam Deane began her insurance career in 1969 at Aetna Life & Casualty (now Travelers) in the accounting department. During her six years with the company, she went from the accounting department to the engineering (loss control) department and then to commercial lines underwriting as an underwriting assistant. In 1975, Pam left the company side of insurance and joined a large Indianapolis agency, the Herman C. Wolff Company. She worked there for three years as a Commercial Lines Service Representative. In 1978, Pam left the Herman C. Wolff Company and joined another large Indianapolis agency, Herke Insurance Center (now Pillar Group). There she continued her career as a Commercial Service Representative working directly with the owner of the agency. Pam joined the Daniel James organization (formerly Trimpe-Gilbert Insurance) in 1983 after a three year leave of absence from her insurance career to have her second child. She continued her career as a Commercial Account Manager on a part time basis. As the company grew, Pam moved into a Commercial Support position helping as many as eight Commercial Account Managers process their work. In 1988, Pam attended the Insurance Licensing School and obtained her Property & Casualty Insurance Agent’s License. She has also attended various seminars and taken several home study insurance courses throughout the years. In August 1991, Pam became an Account Manager handling a large book of small accounts plus being active in the servicing of many large accounts. In 1996, Pam was promoted to Senior Account Manager handling a large book of accounts plus servicing an even larger book. Daniel James was acquired by Brown & Brown Insurance in 1998 where today she works as a Commercial Service Agent handling a book of large account business. Pam lives is an active member of the East 91st Street Christian Church. She works on a regular basis in the children’s ministry of the church. |
